The 2014 Pantone Color of the Year, Radiant Orchid, is sweeping the nation, being incorporated into everything from web design to home decor. Although shades of purple don’t typically come to mind when thinking about coastal decor, we’ve come up with a few ways to combine the worlds of Pantone purple and the coast, with Iron Fish Art.
Purple makes a great statement wall color if you’re looking to spruce up a stark space. The Iron Fish Stingray Sculptures are perfect for those looking to incorporate modern coastal decor with a bolder color palette.
If you’re looking to keep more of the bright, “coastal” feel with lighter shades of purple, then try complementing lilac or lavendar with shades of green, like in the Hurricane Thomas Iron Fish Sculpture.
Another purple complement is the Iron Fish Mermaid. The Light Green Mermaid with Blonde Hair goes well with lighter and darker shades of purple. Display this design on an empty purple wall and prepare to see it POP!
