Horseshoe Crab Sculpture (Approx. 31″ x 10″)

The Horseshoe Crab sculpture is a detailed yet modern representation of Daufuskie’s most prehistoric creature. If you’ve followed my work over the years you know I enjoy coastal colored sculptures but, sometimes muted and discreet tones work perfectly when the subject, material and natural colors work together. The Horseshoe Crab works particularly well in this manner as their detail and overall character replace the feeling a brighter color may have suggested.
