These “fictitious” fish sculptures are 100% designed, created, and handcrafted out of steel by award winning coastal artist & sculptor Chase Allen. These vintage finished sculptures are created exclusively as coastal wall art for all nautical and coastal decor enthusiasts.
Please spend a little time browsing the many featured photographs of how customers and designers have displayed their coastal fish sculptures. Every piece has Chase Allen’s initials CA torch cut in to the eye in a stylized yet cryptic fashion. All fish sculptures are also hand signed with a rotary tool on the bottom of the mouth and dated on the back side of the fish.
One valuable tip about handcrafted metal art is that if you look close enough, you can literally see the individual hammer marks in each sculpture. From afar these fish sculptures may look identical, but upon closer inspection, you too will observe that the beauty is found where each piece is actually quite different. Once you start to notice these differences, you will then be on your way to identifying true craftsmanship from machine or computer generated copies.
Chase Allen’s handcrafted vintage finished coastal art & sculptures have been featured in Coastal Living, Martha Stewart Living, Southern Living, Wall Street Journal, US Air Magazine, The South, Charleston, Charleston Home, Hilton Head Monthly & The Bluff to name a few.
